Use cases for physiotherapy

In this article we will be highlighting how VisionPose can be used in clinical and research settings when it comes to the field of physiotherapy.

Because depth sensors or clothes with markers on them are unnecessary, skeletons can be detected whether the target is lying in bed, sitting in a wheelchair, or in a situation where one of their bodyparts is hidden. As such, there is no need for an excessive burden to be placed on the patient, and they can be freely observed.

Through making movements observable, such as the before and after of a rehabilitation session or taking medicine, you can expect VisionPose to be useful for medical exams, and to cause increased motivation in your patients or clients.

Because VisionPose is also highly accurate when it comes to analyzing extreme and fast movement, it can also be used as an educational tool, in both a clinical and a practical setting.
