In the previous version of VP-Motion, video analysis necessitated the use of the ‘Monitor’ for visual confirmation of footage. However, with the introduction of the new ‘Analyzer’ app, a notable transformation has taken place. Exclusively through the ‘Analyzer,’ users can obtain results in the form of CSV files. This enhancement simplifies the analysis process, providing a more streamlined and efficient experience for users. Say goodbye to the need for continuous visual confirmation during video analysis, and welcome the ease of obtaining comprehensive results directly through the ‘Analyzer’ app.

The output of the analysis results mirrors that of the ‘Monitor,’ yet it comes with distinct advantages:

  • Utilize pre-trained models to conduct bulk analysis on videos at the folder level, effectively minimizing the analysis workload.
  • Benefit from real-time processing without any waiting time, facilitating background execution and expediting the analysis process.
  • Operate seamlessly through commands, enabling integration with various automated systems for enhanced efficiency.

Enhancements and Improved Accuracy in Image-Based Analysis


A new ‘Hand-Cropping‘ mode has been added to Image Based Analysis. This innovative feature narrows the focus to the immediate surroundings, exclusively learning and analyzing the elements within reach. Previously, analysis targeted all pixels within the video, leading to potential influences from irrelevant objects or background elements. With the addition of the ‘Hand-Cropping‘ mode, you can now conduct learning and analysis with a focus on your immediate surroundings, avoiding external influences. This not only enhances precision but also significantly improves overall accuracy in the analysis process.

For examples; Let’s take a look at these two pictures:

By excluding areas outside the red frame, such as the ‘Background,’ from the learning and analysis process, the system remains unaffected by the surrounding environment. For instance, variations in the position of other objects on the workbench or nearby chairs will not interfere with the learning process. This targeted exclusion ensures a focused and precise analysis, allowing the system to ignore irrelevant elements and maintain accuracy in the learning process.

Latest Pose Estimation AI in Skeletal-Based Analysis


We’ve implemented the latest pose estimation AI in Skeletal Based Analysis, to enhance accuracy and minimize false detections from the background. Particularly noteworthy is the improved accuracy in overhead footage, where the increased flexibility in camera placement allows for the adoption of a system tailored to the on-site environment. This enhancement ensures a more accurate and adaptive approach to analysis, promising a refined experience for our users.

Additionally, users have the option to switch back to the conventional AI if they prefer to use the previous version, providing flexibility based on individual preferences.
